Sobre a praia de Maracajaú.

Come visit the north coast of Rio Grande do Norte.

Famous for beaches such as Pipa, Genipabu and Ponta Negra, the coast north of Natal is still littlle explored. See some of our suggestions below.

Púnau: Beach with high dunes and white sands. Near the mouth of Púnau River, the connection of water and dunes has already been the set for several commercials.

Zumbi: Small village of fishermen with a group of bars and restaurants by the seashore.

Caraúbas: Cliffs and rocks with enormous palm trees on the background create a beautiful scenery.

Maxaranguape: Where São Roque Cape,  the closest Brasilian point to Africa, is located.

Jacumã: The sight of the dunes, with the sea at the front and a lake behind, is worth a visit. Dunes descent through aerial cables.

Pitangui: A bar where visitors are served inside a lake of transparent water is one of the attractions.

The beaches above are just some of the most visited, however the coast is cut by an endless beaches, bays, cliffs and rocks that make the place a paradise for those who like beaches. It is worth a visit!
